The Orsini-Odescalchi Castle is a true Italian gem, set within a natural park just 35 km from Rome. We will explore its twenty beautifully decorated rooms, still furnished as they were during the castle’s golden age, along with the courtyard and the historic kitchens. This captivating visit takes you through six centuries of history, Renaissance artworks, and one of Italy’s most prestigious collections of weapons.
We will then head outside to walk along the ramparts, patrol paths, and gardens, which offer breathtaking views of the lake. Today, the castle is also a renowned venue for weddings, conferences, and film and TV productions. A pleasant stroll through the charming medieval “borgo” completes this part of the tour, followed by a lunch stop in a local restaurant.
Afterward, we will visit two other picturesque villages overlooking the lake, enjoying their relaxed atmosphere—and in summer, why not take a refreshing dip?
